A New System of Access at Hendon CAB
from Tuesday 5th May 2009
In order to help meet
the demands of the service, Hendon CAB is piloting a new system of access
that will work in the following way:
From Tuesday 5th
May 2009, the reception area will be open from 9.45am to 3.00pm
We will see clients on
a first come first served basis.
Clients will be offered a 10 minute interview with our assessors
on MONDAYS, TUESDAYS and WEDNESDAYS between 9.45am and 2.30pm, and
on THURSDAY MORNINGS between 9.45am and 12 pm. THIS SERVICE WILL
ONLY BE AVAILABLE AT THESE TIMES.
The nature of the
problem will be assessed, information will be provided and/or an
appropriate appointment will be made at another time.
Where an appointment
is necessary, it may be face to face or by means of a telephone call back
from an adviser, if suitable.
Alternatively, we may
offer you information or suggest other organisations that may be more
appropriate to help you with your enquiry.
In addition, our
receptionists can help you find information, leaflets and factsheets that
may answer your question.
The service is
available to people who live, work or study in the London Borough of
Barnet.

Due to high
demand we may not be able to provide all clients with a gateway
assessment during advertised hours. In this case, you may be asked to
return to the next gateway assessment session. The receptionist, however,
will be happy to assist you with any leaflets that might be of use. We
apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused
Monthly:
Wednesdays
– Solicitors’/Accountants’ appointments 6.30pm - 7.30pm
Whitefields School Outreach - Wednesday mornings, from 9.30 to 11.30 a.m.
at the school, during term-time for pupils, extended families of pupils,
staff and local residents.
Home
Visiting Service: call 020-8201-5772 anytime - visits (to elderly
housebound people only) take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
between 9.30 a.m. and 5.00 p.m.
