About Us
Barnet Citizens Advice Bureau provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. It values diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination.
The service aims:
- To provide the advice people need for the problems they face
- To improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives
The three bureaux that make up Barnet CAB operate as centres to provide a confidential and impartial service of advice, information and assistance to the public.
The service is available equally to everybody who seeks its help, regardless of race, gender, sexuality or disability. The Bureau is affiliated to Citizens Advice, which is the national association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, and the organisation is wholly independent.
The service is provided by unpaid volunteers, who are supported by a team of paid supervisors, manager and specialists.
