Money Advice 

Further to an extensive restructure of our money advice services in April 2009, the previous Money Advice Unit was rebranded the “Money Advice Project (MAP)”. The new service provides in-depth debt advice as well as a limited amount of welfare benefits advice, as resources permit. From September 2010 we will be introducing monthly evening debt appointments. 

Currently, our money advice services are funded by Capitalise, London’s Debt Advice Partnership. 

Services:

Barnet County Court We provide free advice and representation in possession proceedings at Barnet County Court on housing possession court days (usually Thursdays). From 9.45am onwards in Waiting Area B in the Consultation Room.

Other Outreach Sessions our money advisers see clients by appointment at the following locations:

Casework service

We are also able to offer a limited legal casework service on money advice issues. To access this service you need to be referred to us by one of the bureaux
