Change of Service at New Barnet CAB
In order to
meet the demands of the service, from 3 November 2008, New Barnet CAB is
‘piloting’ a new system, which will work in the following way.
On MONDAYS and TUESDAYS, the
reception area will now be open from 9.45am to 2.30pm we will also offer
10 minute interviews with our assessors to a maximum of 15 people per
day.
Following
an interview you may then be offered an appointment or a telephone
consultation with an adviser, some printed information, or given details
of other organisations who may better be able to help you. (Wednesdays
and Fridays this service will be unavailable).
On WEDNESDAYS
and FRIDAYS,
the reception area will be open from 9.45am to 12.30pm where our
receptionist can help you find leaflets, fact sheets and other printed
information that might answer your query.

Due to high
demand we may not be able to provide all clients with a gateway
assessment during advertised hours. In this case, you may be asked to
return to the next gateway assessment session. The receptionist,
however, will be happy to assist you with any leaflets that might be of
use. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.
